Nicole Levin leads community at Pebblebed, and is the architect of what the firm calls the Pebbleverse — the dense network of founders, researchers, operators, and builders that makes Pebblebed more than a capital provider.

Nicole brings an unusual combination of backgrounds to the role. As a broadcast journalist, she developed a rare fluency in how narratives form and why certain ideas achieve escape velocity while others don't. She then moved into operations at AI startups, earning a firsthand understanding of how technical organizations actually function under pressure.

That combination — storyteller and operator, systems thinker and connector — makes her exceptionally effective at building the social infrastructure around a portfolio. She sees relationships as compounding assets.

Nicole creates the events, programs, and channels where the Pebblebed community grows over time. Her conviction: the most important things that happen in early-stage investing happen between people, not between companies and capital.
